A Unicorn publication from 1968 - the first poem is set in Norwich's Castle Gardens and ends pithily "The man who makes a castle like that is a bastard." The third and fourth poems are written in Chapelfield Gardens and I can just imagine Nuttall fleeing from his York St home for the peace and summer sunshine of August and September 1967. The drawings included in Journals seem to me to belong to the shambling radioactive mutants created in Isabel & the Bleeding Foetus. Poems written in Yarmouth or on the train to Yarmouth are further evidence of Nuttall's job in a comprehensive school. One of the poems mentions a Tim - I am assuming that is Tim Sillence. Tim's Colin in the next poem is unknown, Colin Cross does not think it is him.
